How to delete or Clear Recent opened Document History
What is Recent Documents
Last opened files are called Recent Documents/Files. many times we had worked on files and close it but a history is created by windows thats a feature of windows.
If you not clear Recent document history from long times then lots of disk space will be consumed by recent history.So we always advice to you to clear time to time recent history and Temporary files to maintain system performance.
To Set number of recently used items in MS Office follow these steps:
- open any files like: Excel,word,power-point etc.
- go to FILE tab -->Click on OPTIONS -->Then Click on ADVANCED in Left panel.
- Go to the right panel and Find the DISPLAY option.
- type the numbers in "Show this number of Recent Documents" Box.
- Now click on "OK"
